Name one thing you love about Otterbein: I love the sense of community. It's nice to walk across campus and see familiar faces, and even those that are not familiar still offer a smile and a hello as you walk by.

What advice do you have for students in their college search? Keep an open mind and explore many different possibilities; but in the end follow your heart.

Recruitment Territory: I have the pleasure of working with students from Southwest Ohio and all states with the exception of Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, Texas, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania (try saying that five times fast!).

Other Responsibilities: I work as the coordinator of our Host & Tour program, President's Scholars Recognition Event, and the HOOT program. I also work with those students looking to take transient classes at Otterbein.

Education: Bachelors of Science in Journalism (Public Relations) '00 and a Masters in Education '02 from Ohio University in Athens, OH.

Name one thing you love about Otterbein: While I enjoy the sense of community a lot, I would say one of my favorite things about Otterbein is the strong base provided by the liberal arts education. Being able to take a wide variety of classes and find applicability in those classes toward your major, your career and ultimately your life is a great aspect of the liberal arts.

What advice do you have for students in their college search? Know yourself more than anything else. You're going to want to beat your head against the wall several times throughout the year, but if you have faith in the process and yourself it's hard to make a bad choice.

What advice do you have for students in their college search? Visit schools with the academic programs you're looking for (or possibly interested in if you're undecided), and take advantage of each visit you schedule.
