Dear Alumni & Friends,
A new school year has begun at Otterbein! It's alway exciting to see the young, fresh faces of the new students on campus. There are other fresh faces on campus this month as the Science Building renovation continues and a new fence has been installed around Memorial Stadium. Join us for Homecoming October 13 to see these changes.
In the spirit of change, you will see the beginnings of a fresh look for "Cardinal Connection" with a shorter length, new graphics and a few other twists. More changes are on the way over the next few months.
Let us know what you think about this issue and what you want to see in upcoming issues. Send your comments to the editor. Our goal is to make your online connection with Otterbein meaningful. We look forward to hearing from you!
With Cardinal Pride,
Becky Fickel Smith '81, Bonnie Robinson & Laurie Draper

Help make Homecoming 2007 one for the history books.
Contact AlumniInfo@otterbein.edu if you can provide classic cars, golf carts or trailers for the parade; or can loan us your child's tricycle or big-wheel for some activities. Also, we need alumni who are handy with tools and can help students design and build floats. Volunteers are needed October 10-12 from 8 p.m. to midnight. You can work one hour or all hours. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own power tools - to be used by the volunteers and not the students.

Recruit a Cardinal
It's easy to spread the Cardinal spirit to a new generation. If you know of a promising college-bound high school student in your family or neighborhood, share your Cardinal pride with them.
Start the recruitment process...
Click here to request information about Otterbein for that special student, or bring them to campus.
Show them Otterbein's people and places. The next College Visit Days are October 20 and November 3. For more information, e-mail Kristen Messenheimer, Assistant Director of Admissions or call 614-823-1500.
Are you interested in representing OC in the recruitment process? E-mail Bonnie Robinson, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. |
