Dr. Christobek is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
and has obtained certification as a Quality Engineer from the American
Society for Quality. His 20+ years of professional experience includes
Bethlehem Steel, Rohm and Haas, American Video Glass, and Medex. He has also
done management consulting with various companies in Philadelphia,
Pittsburgh, and Columbus. He teaches a variety of
quantitative courses including Operations Management, Decision Analysis,
Strategy of Manufacturing, and Project Management, as well as courses in
mathematics, statistics, economics, and information systems.

Michael Colburn is President of
Breakthrough Performance Innovations, Inc., a professional services firm that
assists organizations to implement healthy change to achieve and sustain
improvement on total performance. Michael’s firm designed and implemented a
workforce development program for a client that was awarded the Governor’s
Workplace Learning Award in 1997. He
has facilitated numerous executive team retreats and helped create management
systems to execute plans and sustain improvements.
Dr. Colburn teaches BADM 630,
Production/Operations Management at Otterbein College. He also teaches Organization Development
& Change Management for Ashland
University. He has taught Industrial Practice in
Systems Analysis & Design and Introduction to Total Quality Management at
the Ohio State University.

Dr. Harper is a full-time faculty in the Mathematical Sciences
department at Otterbein
College. Statistics,
simulation, and operations research are what he enjoys teaching the most.
Before moving into academia in 1997 at Otterbein, Bill worked in
engineering/statistical research and consulting for 20 years and traveled to
over 25 countries including spending a considerable time in Saudi Arabia.
Bill is a licensed engineer, a certified quality engineer, a certified
reliability engineer, and a Fellow of the American Society for Quality. The
two MBA classes he teaches are BADM 660 (Quantitative Methods) and BADM
661(Computer Simulation).

Mr. Lawrence is a partner in the Cincinnati law firm of Frost Brown Todd
LLC. From 1965 until 1970, he served as trial attorney for the National Labor
Relations Board at its Regional Office in Cincinnati. In 1970, Jim joined Frost Brown
Todd, which has offices throughout the Midwest,
and where he is a certified specialist in labor and employment law on behalf
of management. He is past-chairman of its Labor Department and current
chairman of its Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
Jim has been chairman of the Labor and
Employment Law Section of the Ohio State Bar Association and a member of
Governor Voinovich's Operations Improvement Task Force. He is a Senior Master
of the Bench in the Potter
Stewart Inn
of Court. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America
(labor and employment law) and in Who's Who in America,
and is a fellow in the College
of Labor and Employment
Lawyers.
Since 1975, Jim has been an adjunct professor
teaching employment discrimination and negotiation in the graduate school and
the College of Law
at the University
of Cincinnati. He also
teaches negotiation at Ohio State, Xavier
University and the McGregor Graduate
School at Antioch University.
He is a graduate of the Harvard Negotiation Project and in 1991 served as a
teaching fellow at Harvard. Jim has conducted numerous workshops on
negotiation, dispute resolution, and employment discrimination. Recent
publications include "Mediation Advocacy: Partnering with the
Mediator", "15 Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution No. 2

Dr. Mustafa S. Shraim is currently an Independent Quality &
Productivity Consultant in Columbus,
Ohio. He specializes in
Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE) and Quality
Management Systems (i.e. ISO 9000-compliant systems). His research work
involves the development of cost-based control charts using fuzzy set theory
and an expert system for designing experiments. Prior to receiving his
doctorate, Dr. Shraim worked for several years in the automotive industry as
a Quality Engineer and Manager. He is a certified quality engineer (CQE) and
a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He is also a
certified quality management system lead auditor (QMS-LA) by the
International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).

In addition to his teaching interests, Sam
presently is the president of General Acquisitions Inc., an e-commerce firm
specializing in acquisition and liquidation of bankrupt/overstock retail
inventories. Dr. Tabriz also engages in consulting projects involving
financial planning and retirement benefits.

Edward C. Tomlinson is a doctoral candidate in Labor and Human Resources
at the Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. His primary
research and teaching interests deal with conflict resolution and
negotiation. In addition, he has co-authored several recent papers dealing
with compensation systems in virtual organizations, panel interviews as a
selection device, research methods in employee theft, and rebuilding broken

Professional Interests:
Mr.
Voight is an experienced information technology (IT) and business professional
with over 30 years experience. He has assumed various roles as project
manager, systems analyst, technologist, senior-level manager and consultant
associated with IT, business, and academic environments. Tom's strengths
include strategy formulation, facilitation, business process/application
analysis, design, programming, project management, and leadership, on a wide
variety of applications. He possesses multi-platform background in mainframe,
midrange, and PC environments. He has strong communication, team building,
relationship, quality assurance, and organizational development skills.
Tom has taught and created a variety of business
and technology courses for training and at the college level and currently
teaches the following courses at Otterbein College: BADM 685, Managing

Denton teaches MBA courses in Communications & Negotiations and the Legal Environment of Business. He is also an adjunct professor at Antioch University - McGregor, where he teaches Negotiation in the Masters Program in Conflict Resolution.
Denton consults, trains, and coaches in the areas of negotiation, decision process design, and organizational attunement and collaboration. He also provides services as a mediator and arbitrator, specializing in business, labor and employment, and workplace disputes. Denton is an Associate Director of Operations for the School of Biomedical Science and Manager of the Department of Biomedical Informatics at The Ohio State University Medical Center. The School consists of over 550 faculty and staff with an annual budget of over $12M and over $30M in extramural funding. Prior to working at the OSU Medical Center, Denton was an attorney at Downes, Hurst & Fishel, where he practiced labor and employment law.
Denton holds a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and a law degree from The Ohio State University College of Law. He served as Business Editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution, received awards for his papers on alternative dispute resolution, and earned first place in the annual Negotiation Competition. Denton also holds an MBA from The OSU Fisher College of Business, where he majored in strategy/consulting, received Fisher’s highest award, and won the "Best Q&A" Award in the Big 10 Case Competition. He received his bachelor's degree in economics and English from Brigham Young University.
