Otterbein College offers its history and political science students numerous internship opportunities. Its location in suburban Columbus is only 20 minutes away from the State Capitol complex and the multitude of lobbying and political organizations associated with Ohio state government. Columbus also is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and possesses an expanding commercial base that includes hundreds of companies with international business connections.

Otterbein College facilitates internship opportunities in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and at locations across the United States. During 1998 several Otterbein students completed internships in the nation’s capital, including one student who interned with the Office of the President.
