Continuing Education Courses
Otterbein College is committed to life-long education. As part of this commitment, we offer continuing education programs for nurses. The following programs are currently available:
Legal, Fiscal & Ethical Implications of Prescriptive Authority for Advanced Practice Nurses, an on-line course for 7.0 contact hours. Meets requirements for education (Category A) related to Ohio nursing laws and rules needed in advanced pharmacology for the nurse holding a Certificate to Prescribe (CtP) in Ohio. Cost: $100.00. Advanced Pharmacology & Therapeutics, an on-line course for 48.0 contact hours. This course fulfills all requirements to apply for prescriptive authority in Ohio. Cost: $500.00. Registration form.
Camp Nursing, an on-line course for 8.0 contact hours. Cost: 100.00. Registration form.
