Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

PAC is a non-profit organization that is designed to achieve four goals:

  • Advise the college personnel in areas that would foster more open communication between the College and the parents, and on programs and services that would meet the needs of parents and students
  • Sponsor programs and services that meet the needs of parents and students
  • Support fund-raising efforts for needed College programs
  • Encourage qualified students to attend Otterbein
PAC Committees
The Communication Committee examines publications and ways to communicate to parents. Some projects include the Parents Newsletter, this web site and examining ways to open communication lines between the College and parents.

The Programming Committee assists in planning the parent exam care packages, known as Tender Care Packages, and any other programs fitting for the year.

The Annual Fund Committee is led by the Annual Fund Director and functions separately from PAC. Their focus is to assist with fundraising from parents.
