Faculty Development Committee
The Faculty Development Committee sponsors programs to enable self-improvement in the areas of teaching effectiveness, scholarship and professional enrichment. Access to their website is limited to current faculty and staff and is available from the campus intranet by going to the Academic Affairs site and clicking on committees. If you are currently on campus, you may access the Faculty Development site directly by clicking here.

Computer Learning Opportunities
Information Technology holds regular on-campus classes on a variety of softwares and their schedule is here. You can also submit a request for a class on this page.

Publications
Both the library and the CTL have a number of books and articles for your use. Click here for more details.

Online resources
Instructors can find a wealth of helpful online resources on a wide range of teaching and learning topics. The Center for Teaching and Learning has reviewed and compiled a selection of links to help you navigate the wealth of information available.

The CTL has purchased the online resource "POD Essays on Teaching Excellence" which is available for Otterbein faculty and staff on the Academic Affairs intranet page. If you are on campus, or using a browser that is not AOL, click here to be transfered to the POD Essays page. If you are off campus and are using the AOL browser, you will have to navigate to the page by going to www.otterbein.edu, logging onto the intranet, and going to the Academic Affairs site.

Information Literacy --- Courtright Memorial Library

The librarian faculty in partnership with departmental faculty educate students in how to identify, locate, evaluate, and use information effectively, as integral parts of scholarship, liberal education, and independent lifelong learning.
