The Central Ohio area is home to over 10,000 Otterbein alumni who are energetic, dedicated, and loyal. The alumni club helps them serve, support and participate in the life of Otterbein and connect local alumni with each other.
Some past events have been welcoming prospective local students, hosting student/alumni receptions, wine tasting/networking, participating in community service, returning to the ‘Bein for homecoming and more. Otterbein Alumni at the Columbus Zoo & Zoombezi Bay
The Alumni Club of Central Ohio is hosting its second annual Otterbein Alumni Day at the Columbus Zoo! Saturday, August 6, from 9 a.m.-12 noon inside at the Activity Pavilion. Join us at 9 a.m. for kids' crafts including animal masks, Otterbein pennant making, and color Cardy the Cardinal. At 10:30 a.m., we will have a special animal presentation just for alumni and their guests. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon.
**Group discount admission** Zoo: $10 adults, $5 kids age 2-9 and seniors age 60+. Zoombezi Bay: All ages $18.99 (includes Zoo admission!). Parking is free. If you have a Zoo membership, your admission is free. Lunch is $5 for everyoneage 2 to adult. Tickets are limited, so register now. RSVP deadline: July 22.
Homecoming Parade Sept. 24
All alumni are invited to participate with the Alumni Club of Central Ohio in the annual Homecoming parade! You can help pass out candy and spirit beads along the parade route. What a treat, your kids are invited to participate as well! We will supply streamers so children can decorate their bikes (or anything on wheels) before the parade. Meet on the Track at 9:30 a.m. to participate. Don't forget to dress in red for the "Roll Out The Red" homecoming theme.

Otterbein vs Capital Blood Drive 
The Alumni Club of Central Ohio hosted another sucessful blood drive in 2010! The drive was held Oct. 15 and it kicks off the Blood Battle between Otterbein and Capital for 2010-2011 school year. At the blood drive, we collected 42 units of blood, making a grand total of 344 units for the year saving up to 1,032 lives! There are several more blood drives occuring at Otterbein during the 2010-2011 school year and all count for the blood battle with Capital!

September 16 from 1 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the bloodmobile outside of the Campus Center.
