Head Coach Mark Anderson

Mark Anderson begins his first season as head men's tennis coach.
Coach
Anderson is a graduate of Miami University and The Ohio State University
Law School.
He was a four-year letterman at Miami in swimming.
He has spent the last 12 seasons serving as an assistant under head
women's tennis coach Pat Anderson here at Otterbein. The husband and wife team
led Otterbein to OAC women's tennis titles in 2001 and 2003.
Anderson is a
member of the United States Tennis
Association (USTA), and plays in tournaments and leagues. He holds an USTA
official certification and umpires matches at the Ohio State University
and surrounding colleges.
Coach Anderson helps run the boy’s and girl’s
Division II sectionals and districts of the Ohio High School Athletic
Association Tournament in Columbus.
He serves on the board of the Greater Columbus Tennis Association.
Coach Anderson, teaming up with his wife, Pat, won a silver medal
in 55-mixed doubles at the 2007
Senior Olympics in Louisville, Ky.
Coach Anderson's knowledge of the game goes a long way in improving players' individual weaknesses. He is good at getting
a player's best performance by employing a positive coaching style.
