WESTERVILLE, OHIO - Otterbein’s  Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) recently provided WARM (The Westerville Area Resource Ministry )  with Thanksgiving meals for seven local Westerville families.   

Each team’s SAAC representatives were asked to collect a dollar from each of their team members. The funds were brought to the November meeting and the SAAC members went shopping with a list provided by WARM. The response was outstanding.  

With over $400 dollars collected, seven families were provided for, and a donation of nearly $100 dollars went to WARM. The women’s softball team helped deliver the food to WARM and heard firsthand about the need in the Westerville area.  

WARM hopes to provide for over 200 families this Thanksgiving.
