STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

Section 9 - Student Rights

The Student has the following rights in a judicial proceeding:
1. To have a faculty member, administrator, or student appear at the hearing in an advisory capacity; the adviser may not be a legal counselor, parent, or anyone from outside the College community.
2. To request that a particular council member(s) not hear the case upon demonstration of evidentiary cause.
3. To call witnesses in his/her behalf before Academic Council; the witness(es) may not be a legal counselor, parent, or anyone from outside the College community.
4. To remain silent, or to have his/her case heard without attending the hearing.
5. To inquire as to the procedure for future appeals; and if such inquiry is made, to be informed of the procedure for the next appeal.
