Two Former OLN Employees Publish Chapter
Former OLN Executive Director Kate Carey and former OLN Regional Coordinator Gail Peters have a chapter published in the new book, Distance Learning Technology, Current Instruction, and the Future of Education: Applications of Today, Practices of Tomorrow, ISBN: 978-1-61520-672-8; 388 pp; December 2009. The Chapter ³Innovative Curriculum in Distance Learning: An Ohio Case Study² focuses on the award-winning E 4 ME Course developed by OLN staff.

Carey is currently Associate Dean, The Graduate School and the Center for Continuing Studies at Otterbein College. Peters retired in June after 30.5 years in higher education, and has embarked on her second career in business and consulting.

Otterbein offers a variety of courses and 13 evening/weekend majors, including a degree completion format in our PACE Program (Professional Adult Continuing Education), designed to meet the unique needs of continuing studies students pursuing their bachelor's degree. Continuing studies students may also apply to any of our 56 undergraduate daytime majors.
We know your time is valuable and Otterbein's flexible schedule provides you with the opportunity to successfully balance your personal and professional lives while pursuing your academic interests. Continuing studies students may also choose an accelerated schedule that maximizes transfer credit while allowing them to receive a quality education. Our average class size is 20 students.
