Parking at Otterbein

Any Otterbein student, faculty or staff member may operate a motor vehicle in the campus area, provided that vehicle is properly registered and the decal properly displayed. The campus area is interpreted as all public and college-owned property and streets within: the north boundary of the athletic fields and their extension on the north, Knox Street and its extension on the east, Plum Street on the south the West Street on the west. Parking registration fees are determined by parking privileges.

DECALS: Decals are to be secured on the driver's side of the REAR BUMPER, or the passenger side (lower corner) of the inside or outside of the REAR window glass (tape inside/adhesive outside). Decal must be visible at all times, decal owner responsible for display. Decals will be placed on motorized two-wheeled vehicles so they are visible from the rear of the vehicle. VISITORS: Visitors may park in the Campus Center west lot, Cowan Hall lot, Batelle lot, Psychology lot and Davis parking lot. Citations issued for having an unregistered vehicle should be returned to the Security Office, signed and dated by the visitor, explaining the situation. However, any citations issued for fire lane, handicapped space or otherwise illegal parking will be charged to that person.

*Part-time Continuing Studies students have the option of purchasing full-time student decals (in the Security Office), which allow you to park in more lots during the day, but may opt to purchase a part-time decal with applicable restrictions for day time parking. Those with a part-time decal must park in the south section of Davis Hall parking lot or the stadium lot between 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
