PACE Program
The Otterbein College PACE Program (Professional Adult Continuing Education) is designed to help you maximize your transfer credit, attend classes one night a week and weekends, and complete your bachelor's degree in as little as 23 months.
The PACE Program offers six Liberal Studies majors:
- Liberal Studies in Business Administration
- Liberal Studies in Business Psychology
- Liberal Studies in Human Resources Management
- Liberal Studies in Leadership: Leadership and Psychology or Organizational Leadership
- Liberal Studies in Management and Leadership
- Liberal Studies in Organizational Communication
PACE Program Features
- The opportunity to complete your degree in just 23 months by taking 2 courses per term over 4 terms (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) plus a December Term course. Requires 90 quarter hours (60 semester hours) of transfer credit, including selected prerequisites.
- The flexibility to complete one of the PACE majors at a similar rate if you have little or no college credit.
- A combination of one-night-per-week and weekend classes. Evening classes meet for 3.25 hours. Weekend classes meet Saturdays for 4 hours, generally every other weekend (6 sessions plus a final exam period).
- The choice of scheduling your classes a year in advance and enrolling in a December Term course at no charge (requires a pattern of 2 courses per term over 4 consecutive terms)
- The option of set-your-own-PACE scheduling to accommodate your busy work and personal schedules.
- The benefit of small classes for enhanced learning and interaction with your peers.
- The average class size is 15 students.
