December is the projected month for completion of the McFadden Hall renovation portion of the new science center. Crews are right on target and noticeable changes are occurring everyday. New ceilings grids have been installed throughout the building and new light fixtures are now lit. A large crew continues to frame and finish walls that will define each classroom and laboratory.
All of the windows have been installed and the building is airtight. During the next month crews will continue to finish the walls, install any missing ceiling tiles, install flooring, and put the finishing touches on design and furnishings.
Be sure to check back for further details and updates as this exciting portion of the science building project moves closer to completion. Classes are scheduled to resume in McFadden Hall in January 2008! The Schear Hall renovation and expansion is scheduled to start in early 2008.
