Otterbein is committed to preparing teachers to maximize the potential of all learners. We offer a variety of programs for experienced teachers, those seeking professional development, and those new to education. Our program promotes collaborative learning and critical reflection to develop a community of lifelong learners.

Graduate Education Programs

Master of Arts in Education (for licensed teachers)

Master of Arts in Teaching (for those seeking initial teaching license in Middle Childhood; grades 4-9 only)*

Non-Degree Programs

Reading Endorsement (add K-12 Reading Endorsement to existing teaching license)

TESOL Endorsement (add K-12 Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages Endorsement to existing teaching license)

Professional Development (this includes renewing your teaching certificate/license, adding licensure or general professional development)

Masters + (for those holding a Masters degree)

*for those holding Bachelor's degrees, seeking initial teaching license in PK-3, 4-9, or 7-12 please see the Post-Baccalaureate.
