As a student, you will take 10 requirements (50 credit hours) throughout your four years of undergraduate education. As you progress through the sequence of courses, you will be able to make connections between your Integrative Studies courses, your major courses, and your other experiences both within and outside of your education. The program not only builds self-knowledge but also an understanding of the world you live in. All Integrative Studies requirements and courses are listed in the Otterbein College Undergraduate Catalog. To see which courses are offered in upcoming quarters, view the Course Schedule site. |
New Curriculum Though traditionally the IS curriculum has had a theme of human nature, a new curriculum has been developed and is centered on the principles of global education. The curriculum will be implemented in 2011, as Otterbein transitions from quarters to semesters. Information about requirements for the new curriculum will be forthcoming. |

Policies on course substitutions and waivers can be found at the Registrar's site.
