The Plant Science concentration within the Life Science major provides students with the tools required to address botanical issues of our society, such as a global food production, preservation of botanical germ plasm, and manipulation of the plant genome. Our new Science Center has two greenhouses and has constructed a plant science laboratory for faculty/student research. Students participate in plant science research projects involving plant-pathogen interactions and fungal diversity.
