The Friends of the Otterbein University Courtright Memorial Library are proud to present author Alexis Wilson on Sunday, June 22 at 2 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the Courtright Memorial Library. Alexis Wilson will be discussing and reading from her memoir, Not So Black and White. Not So Black and White
is a powerful book about family, bravery and love. Alexis describes what it is like to have interracial parents who were international ballet stars, being abandoned by her mother at 11 years old, and losing her father to AIDS.
“It is my sincerest desire to inspire more understanding and support of family, in all its versions and variations. And to celebrate our many differences with bravery and love,” Wilson said. Read more about Alexis Wilson and her book.
The event is free and open to everyone. Books will be available for sale and Alexis Wilson will autograph copies of her book after her presentation.
