  • Kemeny receives $88,000 grant for autism research

    Betsy Kemeny, Slippery Rock University assistant professor of recreational therapy, has received a $88,000 grant from the Horses and Humans Research Foundation to research the effects of therapeutic riding on stress levels in young adults with autism. Steffanie Burk, an equine scientist at Otterbein University, will partner with Kemeny on the project.
