Otterbein Percussion Ensemble to Perform “Rhythm in Riley”

Westerville, OH—The Otterbein Percussion Ensemble will present an evening of “Rhythm in Riley” at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, in Riley Auditorium at the Battelle Fine Arts Center, 170 W. Park Street. Under the direction of Michael Yonchak, the percussion ensemble will explore an eclectic mix of contemporary percussion literature that stretches from European classical traditions to North Indian tabla and American ragtime. As always, admission is free and open to the public.

Otterbein Chamber Ensembles to Perform Recital

Westerville, OH—Otterbein University’s string and piano chamber music ensembles will perform a recital at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 in Riley Auditorium at the Battelle Fine Arts Center, 170 W. Park Street. The ensembles will be performing works by composers including Bach, Brahms, Borodin, Dvořák, Fauré, and more. This event is free and open to the public.

The Anticipations to Perform Rock Concert at Otterbein

Westerville, OH—Otterbein University’s student rock band, The Anticipations, will perform covers of rock and roll classics at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov.18, in Riley Auditorium at the Battelle Fine Arts Center, 170 W. Park Street. The group will be performing songs by Queen, Taylor Swift, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and more. This event is free and open to the public.

Artists in Residence QUBE to Perform Beethoven and Onslow

Westerville, OH—QUBE, the resident string quartet at Otterbein University, will perform a recital at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19, in Riley Auditorium at the Battelle Fine Arts Center, 170 W. Park Street. The quartet will be performing Beethoven’s String Quartet, Op. 18, No. 3 and George Onslow’s String Quintet in C minor No. 26, Op. 67, featuring Jim Bates on double bass. This event, a part of the Sundays at Otterbein series, is free and open to the public.
