Otterbein University Wind Ensemble to Perform "On Stage and Screen"

November 17, 2017
Otterbein University

Westerville, OH—The Otterbein University Wind Ensemble will perform an unusual program titled On Stage and Screen at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, in Riley Auditorium at the Battelle Fine Arts Center, 170 W. Park Street. This event is free and open to the public.

This eclectic program pairs Carl Maria von Weber’s Concertino for Clarinet, performed by Otterbein clarinet professor Hild Peersen, with a showing of the Buster Keaton silent film Cops! and a live performance of the score by the ensemble. In addition to this pairing will be works by Malcolm Arnold and student composer Owen Hopper.
