In this course, we will address subjects that arise in thinking about our social practices and political institutions. Some of the subjects that this course might focus on are: human rights, just-war theory, philosophy of race, distributive justice, equality, political authority, feminist philosophy, and cosmopolitanism. This class will draw from classical, modern and contemporary sources. Topic varies.Texts Used
