The Cardinal Career Network
Nearly 100 students, professionals, and guests attended the 20th Annual Cardinal Luncheon.
If you are interested in lending a helping hand to current Otterbein students, the Cardinal Career Network is the perfect opportunity for you. Surveys of college undergraduates reveal that their favorite career exploration method involves direct contact with professionals in the "real world." The Cardinal Career Network, sponsored by the Otterbein Career Center, provides students with access to the professional knowledge of alumni. Through a variety of programs and services such as serving as a career consultant or campus speaker, participating in on-campus programs, referring jobs or internships, or providing a job shadowing opportunity, alumni can connect with students to help them better prepare for their future encounters with the world of work. The network currently involves a growing number of Otterbein graduates in a wide variety of career fields.

Cardinal Career Network.
Participating in the Cardinal Network Luncheon is one of the favorite ways network members can share information and advice with students. Each year since 1984 the luncheon has provided a chance for students to meet someone who has their dream job, discuss career related issues, and gain insight on desired occupations. The professionals appreciate the chance to share their knowledge with a young professional-to-be and provide appreciated advice and encouragement.
The ladies of Six in the City entertained the crowd with songs by Gershwin.
