Senior Receives Prestigious Student Leader Award

Senior, public relations major, Haley Young, was recently awarded the Undergraduate Student Leader Award from the Ohio College Personnel Association (OCPA). This is a prestigious accomplishment for an undergraduate student.
The Undergraduate Student Leader Award is presented annually by OCPA. This award is presented to an undergraduate student leader who is enrolled in an Ohio higher education institution and has demonstrated leadership, contributed to Student Affairs on his/her campus, and has a desire to begin a professional career in Student Affairs.
Otterbein University is committed to helping its students explore internship experiences that are in line with their interests and goals. Young recently completed an internship at Denison University, assisting with its orientation program. Her leadership and contribution to Student Affairs at Otterbein and Denison earned Young the OCPA award nomination.
Currently, Young is in the process of applying to graduate school, where she plans to pursue a master's degree in Student Affairs.
