Nobel Laureate to Speak at 2014 Science Lecture Series

Otterbein University will present a lecture by Professor Robert Grubbs, 2005 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry and Victor and Elizabeth Atkins Professor of Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology, at 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 20 in Riley Auditorium at the Battelle Fine Arts Center, 170 W. Park St. The lecture is sponsored by the 2014 Science Lecture Series. The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in the Science Building Atrium.

Dr. Grubbs, along with Dr. Yves Chauvin and Dr. Richard Schrock, received the 2005 Nobel Prize for the development of alkene metathesis chemistry.
