Otterbein graduate education fits into your work/life balance

Work/life balance – can it all fit in? Graduate school? Professional development?

Many of you are alumni who have already successfully reached a work/life balance that, at one point in time, included graduate school. Some of you are in school now and some are contemplating the leap into the world of a graduate program. Alumni know that learning never stops, requiring us to continuously shift our work/life/school balance.

Otterbein University knows how to help you maintain a perfect balance while you study and learn. We offer grad classes and professional development courses at times suitable for working adults, those with families too – whether it be evening, summer or on-line courses with that “Otterbein touch” of relationship already built in.

Our graduates tell us we provide exceptional support for the working family woman and man employed today. Faculty are in tune with the working student, they understand and allow for the flexibility needed to be successful.

Did you know that Otterbein offers non-degree options along with graduate degree programs?

Life will deliver the value and balance we desire when we are achieving and enjoying something every single day, in all the important areas that make up our lives. As a result, according to author Jim Bird, a good working definition of work/life balance is “meaningful daily achievement and enjoyment in each of the four life quadrants: Work, Family, Friends, and Self.”

Let Otterbein help you achieve and enjoy life so you can appreciate each and every day with family at home and at work!
