402-01: Engaging Cultures: Words and Worlds

"Engaging Cultures: Words and Worlds" is the course that brings the real senior year experience to students of Otterbein. Aware that they are part of a country with many cultures, students come into the course to learn how to engage more productively with differences among people. Beth Daugherty and Christina Reynolds, the course professors, frame the course around how humans actually engage into other cultures, and learn what steps to take to make such encounters more positive than negative.
