Degree Audit

The degree audit is THE tool for determining what courses to select to fulfill the requirements for your degree and to assure you don't overlook anything.  It displays (1) graduation requirements that have been met and (2) those that remain to be completed and for which you need to register.  Use it to monitor your progress towards a degree from day one until program completion.  It is the same software the Registrar's Office uses to perform final graduation check-out.  If you have Otterbein credit earned prior to Autumn Quarter 1987, the degree audit is not accurate and should not be used.

Where do I find it?
Once you've logged in to CardinalWeb for Students, you'll find it in a pulldown menu at the top of the screen.

Can my advisor use it, too?
Sure.  Your advisor has access to it via CardinalWeb for Faculty.  It should be used whenever you consult with your advisor.  Every full-time advisor has a PC in his or her office.

Can I use the degree audit to check my progress towards Adolescent to Young Adult and Multi-Age Teacher Education programs?
Yes...providing you are officially enrolled as a BA or BS degree-seeking undergraduate and the Registrar's Office has been officially notified of your acceptance into the Teacher Education Program.  Teacher licensure will appear as a "clickable" secondary program on the degree audit website.  If you already have a degree and have returned to Otterbein as a post-baccalaureate student, the degree audit cannot be used.
