Guidelines
Please review the following guidelines for our Senior Citizen Guest Program.
- Applicant must be 62 years of age to participate in a course at no tuition charge.
- Only one course per term may be taken.
- Tuition-paying students receive first preference.
- All requests are considered on a case by case basis. Typically, senior citizens sit in on traditional lecture style classes in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
- Classes with full enrollment or those designed for individualized instruction are not open for senior guest participation.
- Please do not submit this registration form any earlier than 3 weeks prior to the start of the term. The Registrar is unable to determine availability until then.
- Transcript - Your registration is not considered an audit, no tuition is charged and thus no transcript record is created.
- Parking - Parking permits are available at Campus Security (614-823-1870) located in the Campus Center. There is no charge for the permit which is valid for one academic term only. Ask at that office where the most likely place to find space will be during the term. Finding a space is not always easy.
- Books - Check with the Bookstore (614-823-1364), located in the Campus Center, about securing a book for the class. You must purchase your own books.
