Name one thing you love about Otterbein: I love the sense of community. It's nice to walk across campus and see familiar faces, and even those that are not familiar still offer a smile and a hello as you walk by.
What advice do you have for students in their college search? Keep an open mind and explore many different possibilities; but in the end follow your heart.

Name one thing you love about Otterbein: The wonderful sense of community. From the administration to the faculty, students will always feel comfortable in their academic setting as they pursue their career goals.
What advice do you have for students in their college search? Enjoy the experience, keep an open mind, do not be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and stay on top of deadlines.

What advice do you have for students in their college search? Make a list of colleges that have the programs you are interested in, decide what your geographic boundaries are, make campus visits, try to get a feeling of "best fit" for you.

Education: Bachelors of Science in Journalism (Public Relations) '00 and a Masters in Education '02 from Ohio University in Athens, OH.
Name one thing you love about Otterbein: While I enjoy the sense of community a lot, I would say one of my favorite things about Otterbein is the strong base provided by the liberal arts education. Being able to take a wide variety of classes and find applicability in those classes toward your major, your career and ultimately your life is a great aspect of the liberal arts.
What advice do you have for students in their college search? Know yourself more than anything else. You're going to want to beat your head against the wall several times throughout the year, but if you have faith in the process and yourself it's hard to make a bad choice.

Name one thing you love about Otterbein: I really love the small campus community and sense of belonging. Being able to take a walk to Westerville's Uptown area for some coffee, ice cream, or to just look around is a plus too!
What advice do you have for students in their college search? Take advantage of each college visit you schedule. Meet with a professor in your interest area, ask questions, try the campus food-get everything out of your visit that will help you in your college search process.
