Otterbein College is strongly committed to international education. To help meet this commitment, the Office of International Student Programs is dedicated to serving International students and U.S. students with an interest in studying abroad.

Around 3,000 students come to Otterbein every year from 25 countries. Our small size assures you plenty of personal attention.

Westerville is a Friendly Place
Otterbein is located in Westerville, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, the state capital. With a population of 37,000, Westerville has a safe, small town feel yet is minutes away from a large city. We have a charming downtown just a few blocks from campus that features restaurants and shops. Residents enjoy 335 acres of park land in 26 different locations plus the recreational activities along the nine mile Hoover Reservoir, just east of the city.

When you arrive in the United States, Chuck Vedder, our Director of International Programs, or his assistant will meet you at Port Columbus International Airport and help you move into your residence hall.
