Center for Career and Professional Development

The mission of the Center for Career and Professional Development is to empower students to navigate the self-discovery process and integrate their curricular and co-curricular experiences by providing comprehensive resources and professional development opportunities that promote career development as a lifelong process.

Center for Student Success

The Center for Student Success at Otterbein is a resource that offers supplemental academic advising and peer mentoring to help you in dealing with academic concerns. The center can help you by creating an individualized academic success plan, or refer you to other campus offices for help and guidance as appropriate. The center serves as an advocate and remove barriers to your success. You can:

  • Get supplemental academic advising
  • Get referrals for extra help to various campus department
  • Meet with an advisor or peer mentor to talk about academic concerns

Academic Support Center

The Otterbein Academic Support Center (ASC) exists to help students develop and strengthen the skills necessary to attain their academic goals.Through collaboration with students, faculty, and staff, the ASC supports students in becoming independent lifelong learners in an accessible student-centered environment. The center facilitates the development of learning strategies and skills in partnership with peers and professionals through tutoring, academic coaching, supplemental instruction, academic courses, and other learner-focused services.
