Join us February 15-18, 2007 in Savannah!

Elegant . . . romantic . . . mysterious . . .

Georgia's First City is waiting to charm you with her tree-filled squares and perfectly preserved old buildings, captivate you with her past and her haunting natural beauty, embrace you with her warmth and Southern hospitality.

She's waiting by the sea, on Georgia's historic coast and in the midst of the delightful Low Country region. Graced by huge live oaks festooned with Spanish moss and azaleas bursting with colorful blossoms, the squares are unique centerpieces surrounded by stately old homes, graceful churches and eclectic shops and galleries.

Steeped in history, tradition and romance, Savannah traces her roots to 1733 when British General James Edward Oglethorpe, traveling with a group of 114 settlers, landed his ship on the Savannah River. He named the thirteenth and final American colony Georgia after England's King George II and founded Savannah as its first city. During the Civil War, she was the prize at the end of the Union army's devastating "March to the Seaquot; in December 1864 and spared devastation. Threatened again in the latter half of the 20th century, Savannah was saved by a small group of historic preservations whose results are visible in over 800 historic buildings.

This 'southern belle' migration will provide you the opportunity to experience Savannah's rich culture and history along with its breathtaking coastline.
