yucky trash can with beautiful daffodils

Have you heard? It's Spring! So...it's time to get outside with other Cardinals in the Akron/Canton region and make a difference on Super Saturday - - the culmination of "Clean Up Akron Week."

This is also NE Ohio's participation in Otterbein's annual Spring Community Plunge activities. We're plunging into Akron and cleaning up Grace Park. Come on Cards -- we can do it!

When:

  Saturday, April 25 at 9 a.m.

Where:   Meet at Trinity Lutheran Church (parking lot - look for the Otterbein banner)
501 N. Prospect
Akron, OH

What will we do:   First, we will pick up trash in Grace Park (please bring some gloves.)

What Else:   As a thank you, all participants will receive a free t-shirt from Otterbein, free admission to the Akron Zoo for that day, free lunch and entertainment. "Keep Akron Beautiful" is celebrating the culmination of "Clean Up Akron Week" at the zoo!

What's the Catch:

Just 2 things:
(1) Please register EARLY. Why? We need to submit the names of participants to "Keep Akron Beautiful" before all the zoo tickets are gone.

(2) We also need you to download, complete and bring this waiver form with you when you arrive for the event.

Please Register Here Preregistration has closed as of today (4/24/09) but please come on out to the event. Just bring your waiver form with you (see #2 in "what's the catch" above.) Thanks!
