Alumni Online Directory
Ahhh...the holidays. It's the time of year to reconnect with friends and family. And now the Alumni Online Directory can help you easily find your classmates from years' past.
Alumni across the country and around the world are using the directory to update their own information, post class notes and find old friends.

|
"Technology is wonderful! In today's world, it seems that we only stay "connected" through the internet. I'm glad that OC has given us the ability to find old friends or make new ones. It is a great advantage to keep the Otterbein community together."
Ellen Christ '04 |
| |
The directory is easy to use:
Go to www.otterbein.edu/alumni and select "Online Directory" in the menu bar.
The username and password you need to log-in the first time are printed on your "Towers Magazine" label. (Or call us at 614.823.1650 or 1.888.614.2600 or e-mail alumniinfo@otterbein.edu.)
Once you have logged in for the first time you can change your password to something that's easy to remember. |
Have a question? IM a Librarian!
Otterbein College Courtright Memorial Library - hopefully you associate the name with scholarly information and helpful, knowledgeable librarians.
Now, at otterbeinlibrary, you can associate it with instant messaging (IM). That's right - you can ask questions of Otterbein librarians without the cost of long distance (though they are happy to take your calls at 614-823-1984). The library supports AIM (AOL), MSN, ICQ, Yahoo Messenger, and Google Talk. If you have never used IM, an easy version to use is the Yahoo or Google product. Once you are on, all you need to do is type otterbeinlibrary in the contact box, a window will open and you will be IM'ing with an Otterbein librarian. IM is available when the reference desk is being staffed, so if you are working into the wee hours of the morning you can send an email to library@otterbein.edu and a librarian will contact you the next day. |

Cardinal Network Luncheon '07 "Exploration!"
The Center for Career Planning (CCP) celebrates its 22nd Annual Cardinal Network Luncheon on Jan. 26. This long-standing tradition is a wonderful opportunity for students to meet professionals in their fields of interest and discuss career possibilities. Because of the unique insight of alumni, it is preferable to match students with Otterbein alumni. Last year 26 alumni participated in this event. The CCP would like to increase that number in 2007. If you are interested in being considered as a match for a student, please contact the Center for Career Planning at 614.823.1456. (Click here to see the students' professions of interest.) |
