Announcing the E-Promotion...how will you connect?

The Cardinal Connection is a tool for connecting alumni and friends of Otterbein with the College. Yet there are other ways to connect with Otterbein friends. With this issue we are excited to announce the E-Promotion. What is it? We challenge you to find ways to connect with Otterbein and with your classmates - and what's the fun of a challenge without a prize? The first 50 alumni to connect with Otterbein using one of the tools below will be rewarded with the brand spankin' new Otterbein marching band CD. On your mark...get set...CONNECT!

Announcing a New Feature: Where's The Cardinal?

Otterbein alumni can be found just about anywhere and in all walks of life. And the one thing that binds us together is our Cardinal spirit. From time-to-time we'll feature alumni around the nation showing their Cardinal spirit with The Cardinal (and yes...he does prefer to be called The Cardinal!)

    June Bug Committee

The Cardinal made an appearance in Waynesville, OH at the first meeting of the 2009 June Bug Jamboree Planning Committee. Can you spot him?

Hold the date! This year's June Bug is June 27.

    Sam Jaeger
The Cardinal kept his cool while meeting Sam Jaeger '99 in Los Angeles. Apparently, the little guy is a big fan of the TV show "Eli Stone" and Sam plays the character Matt Dowd on the show.

We change lives here. You make that possible.

    An Engagement Story

"I met my new fiance in Clippinger Hall at Otterbein College when we were both interviewing for a scholarship.  As science majors we became close friends during all that time spent in lab and eventually started dating when he moved into the apartment above mine in the Commons.  Two weeks ago he proposed in front of Clippinger Hall!"

"We then painted the spirit rock in front of the campus center to announce our engagement to our friends still living around Otterbein/Westerville.
    "
