Temperature and Dress

The Cardinal Migration Utah Consulting Committee recommends you wear layers of clothing to discard as the day warms. The average high/low temperatures for April are highs of 61º F and lows of 43º F. The mountain areas may be as much as 20 degrees cooler.

You are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. The host hotel is the Sheraton City Centre Hotel. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City just five blocks from LDS Temple Square and downtown shopping with stunning views of Wasatch Mountains. You must make reservations prior to March 14, 2008

For hotel reservations, call Central Reservations at 1-888-627-8152. Your immediate action in reserving today will help us increase our room block if necessary. To receive the special Otterbein rate, you must call prior to March 14, 2008.

Mention you are with the Otterbein College Cardinal Migration along with the April dates to receive the special room rate of $129 plus city and state taxes. State your king/double bed preference. All rooms are non-smoking. Check-in is 3:00 p.m. Room rates are extended three nights before and after the migration.

The hotel is completing a $5 million renovation project to all the banquet space and hotel rooms. Other Sheraton amenities: full service hair salon, a well-equipped fitness center, massage and body treatment facility, outdoor pool, indoor whirlpool and sauna, fine jewelry store, car rental and gift shop.

Please note the hotel cancellation policy: When reservations are made, the hotel will require a deposit equal to the room rate and tax for the first night. An individual's deposit is refundable to that individual if the hotel received notice of an individual's cancellation at least 3 days prior to scheduled arrival. Upon check-in, each guest will be required to present a valid credit card upon check-in.
