Utah Olympic Park Tour with Lunch at Log Haven - $110 per person

Built as the site for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, this $45 million facility boasts state-of-the-art K120 and K90 Nordic jumping hills, a freestyle aerial hill, and a 1,335-meter-long track for bobsled, luge, and skeleton-sled runs. We will have a guided tour of the park as well as time for an interactive journey chronicling Utah's ski history at the Alf Engen Ski Museum in the Joe Quinney Winter Sports Center.

Lunch will be at the Log Haven Restaurant which is a completely refurbished and renovated historic retreat. The ambiance is one of rustic elegance featuring dark wood log walls, dual sided fireplace and incredible dining. This restaurant has been consistently awarded the "Most Romantic Restaurant" since 1998 by Utah Publication City Weekly. Its most recent awards in 2006 and 2007 were in recognition for the Best of State Award, Best Chef and Best Fine Dining-American Experience in Utah.

(Transportation and lunch included in the post-migration cost. The Art Shack workshops are an extra cost with advance registration necessary.

Nestled at the base of Mt. Timpanogos this full-service, year-round community for the arts, recreation and nature is situated on 6,000 acres of spectacular wilderness. Biew the spectacular mountain scenery from a safe and comfortable, padded chairlift. Upon reaching the top of Ray's Lift take advantage of astounding photo opportunities or briefly explore the many hiking trails.

We will learn and discover through a Sundance Naturalist and guided walking tout (weather permitting) of the extensive Nature Conservancy program. After the educational learning or Art Shack workshops, we will gather for lunch in a private room ath the Foundry Grill for a meal of fresh vegetables and meats cooked in an apple wood rotisserie oven.

Sundance Art Shack unleashes your creative potential. Spend two hours in an Art Sharck Studios workshop and take away a lasting memory of the Utah wilderness. Choose from single-session workshops in jewelry making, wheel-thrown pottery, printmaking and photography. All classes are tailored to each individual's ability level, from beginner to experiences artists and include expert instruction and materials. Please note, the photography class is one camera for two people at the single rate.
