Dr. Kathy KrendlOtterbein Announces 20th President

Otterbein College is proud to announce that Dr. Kathy A. Krendl, Executive Vice President and Provost of Ohio University, will become the College's 20th president. Dr. Krendl will be the first woman to lead Otterbein, a school with a rich history of inclusiveness. Dr. Krendl will succeed President C. Brent DeVore, who will retire at the end of the academic year following 25 years as Otterbein's president. She will assume her role in July 2009. (more)

News "DeVore Hall" will be the name of the residence hall currently known as The Suites in honor of President C. Brent DeVore's 25 years of exemplary service to the College. (more)

Colin Hartnett, a 2003 graduate of the College of Wooster, is excited to be returning to Ohio to coach Otterbein's Men's Lacrosse team. (more)

Danielle Fabian '11 was recently awarded a Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Foundation Academic Service Entrepreneur Grant for her innovative community service program, Granola Girls. (more)

Kathy Mazza received the 2008 Director's Award of Distinction for her outstanding contributions to the Otterbein Athletic Department. (more)
