Graduate Education programs at Otterbein

Otterbein’s Graduate Education Department is the perfect place to earn a Master’s degree and transform your teaching practice. The Graduate Education instructors at Otterbein are committed to supporting teachers incorporate new strategies for the 21st Century classroom while being mindful of teachers'  schedules.  We offer a variety of programs for experienced teachers, those seeking professional development, and those new to education.

Mathematics teachers seeking advanced education that blends content knowledge with teaching skills should consider the Master of Arts in Educational Mathematics.

Otterbein offers many opportunities for teachers to continue to develop as a professional. Contact Amy Featherstone, Graduate Education Advisor, for an appointment to discuss the best individualized plan for you.

K-12 Intervention Specialist License

Otterbein offers teachers the opportunity to add a K-12 or PreK-3 license, or complete a Master's degree in Special Education. Students with a Bachelors Degree can earn a Master's Degree and initial license at the same time with our unique Master of Arts in Teaching Intervention Specialist program.  Learn more about our K-12 Intervention Specialist Licensure programs.

Courses for Professional Development 

You can complete an endorsement, add a license, or renew your license by taking practical and high-impact courses at Otterbein. Otterbein offers evening and blended course designs to fit a teacher's schedule.  Please contact a Graduate Education Advisor for information about innovating your teaching practice.
