WHAT I EXPECT FROM MY ASSISTANT COACHES
To be loyal. Be loyal to the head coach, every assistant coach, and every member of the Team. Your loyalty must be vocal.
To accept, execute, and defend all policies, philosophies and decisions. Regardless of how important or unimportant they may seem. And to keep all staff decisions within the confines of the football staff.
To be able to be given assignments and responsibilities and complete them in an aggressive and timely manner. You will be held accountable.
To voice opinions in staff meetings. I do not want "yes men" or non-contributors.
To want to win and to want to do everything legally and ethically possible to win.
To study, research, and work hard to make yourself the best possible coach you can be.
To exhibit character and never embarrass yourself, your family or your team. You can't expect your players to act with class if you don't. Be a positive role model for players.
To treat players with respect and dignity. Always be honest with yourself and the players.
To be positive and optimistic in your outlook. Never doubt that we will be successful. Have faith in the team.
To always do more than is required or what is asked. Your work is a portrait of your commitment to excellence. The more you do the more success you will find.
To honestly desire and thirst for professional greatness, and to be willing to pay the price to reach the level of the elite.
To be pleasant to work with. Moody coaches are a drain to all they come into contact with.
