The 2005 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships will be hosted by Otterbein this year at the Otterbein Campus Course in Westerville . Otterbein's cross country course is located between Africa Road , just west of the Rike Center and the Clements Recreation Center , and Cleveland Avenue, just north of Main Street and adjacent to the Westerville Community Center.

The women's race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. followed by the men's race at noon.

The Otterbein men and Mount Union women won the 2004 OAC cross country team championships, respectively.

The Cardinals outran runner-up Mount Union by eight points to capture its ninth overall men's team title, including its second straight. Senior Mike Sawicki (Ashtabula/Lakeside) will look to become the 15th OAC runner to win back-to-back individual Cross Country Championship titles. Cardinal senior Mike Cauley (Mechanicsburg) also returns after a fourth place showing a year ago.

Other 2004 All-OAC performers back this year are John Carroll senior Cyril Pinchak (Shaker Hts./Gilmour Academy), Mount Union senior Chris Paulett (Akron/Revere), Mount Union junior Jeremy Velliquette (Fremont/St. Joseph Central Catholic) and Ohio Northern senior Brad Schroeder (Shelby ).

The following lists both the men's team and individual scores from the 2004 OAC Cross Country Championships. The top-10 runners are honored with All-OAC accolades. Individuals in bold and italics are back this season.
