9/26/2008 New Piano Inaugural Concert/Celebration - 8 p.m., Riley Auditorium; A dedicatory concert featuring performances by the Otterbein piano faculty and friends, as well as a tribute to generous donors, Drs. Morton and Barbara Achter.
9/27/2008 Cardinal Marching Band at Oak Hill Band Festival - 7 p.m.
10/3/2008 Faculty Jazz Recital - 8 p.m., Riley Auditorium; Please join us in welcoming two new additions to the music department and jazz faculty, bass instructor Chris Berg, and Assistant Band Director and this evening's drummer, Michael Yonchak. The sextet will play selections from the jazz canon, including Thelonious Monk and Columbus native Rahsaan Roland Kirk.

11/19/2008 "The Ox on the Roof: Music in Paris in the 1920s" - 8 p.m., Riley Auditorium; Department Chairperson Craig Johnson shares the results of his recent sabbatical leave in France, with an emphasis on the choral music of Les Six, a group of innovative composers who lived and worked in and around Paris in the early part of the 20th century. The presentation will feature images; recordings; and live music, provided by the Otterbein Vocal Ensemble, Kim Boyd, Director, and other guests.
