Otterbein String Orchestra to Perform at Grace Lutheran Church

The Otterbein String Orchestra will present a program of string orchestra favorites at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 31 at Grace Lutheran Evangelical Church, 100 E. Schrock Rd., Westerville. The performance is free and open to the public

Vivaldi's popular "Spring" Concerto will feature Otterbein senior violinists Daniel Bolton of Ashville, OH; Bonnie Shore of Alliance, OH; Nate Rute of Columbus, OH (43235); and
Jordan Koogler of Sidney, OH. Other popular pieces will include renowned Italian opera composer Giacomo Puccini's work for strings entitled Chrysanthemums, Serenade for Strings in C major by Tchaikovsky.

Otterbein College Choral Ensembles to Perform

The Otterbein College Department of Music will present a choral concert featuring Camerata, Otterbein Singers, Women's Chorale, and Concert Choir at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, at the Fritsche Theatre in Cowan Hall, located at 30 S. Grove St., Westerville. The event is free and open to the public.

The program will feature a variety of choral works, including pieces from the traditional, musical theatre and popular music repertories, and an original work by Department of Music faculty member Dennis Davenport. The three choral ensembles involve over 150 Otterbein College students drawn from the Department of Music and a variety of other majors.
