Security and Parking Information

All campus buildings, as well as Uptown Westerville, are within walking distance, but you may bring your car, motorcycle or bike with you to campus. All cars must be registered and a parking decal needs to be purchased from the Security Department. Since we do not have a surplus of parking, we recommend bringing a vehicle only if it is absolutely necessary.

The Security Department, located at 194 West Main Street, handles vehicle registration. The cost for a parking decal for the entire year, which will allow you to park in specified student parking lots, is $120 for residents (an "A" decal) and the same for commuters (a "B" decal). Some residents, depending on their housing assignment, will receive "H" decals. Part time students may purchase a "P" decal for limited use for $40. Upon registering your car, you will receive a map indicating which lots your decal allows you to park in. You can purchase your parking decal online at anytime, at your summer orientation session, or at the Security Department anytime throughout the summer or during New Student Weekend.
