FINANCIAL AID
Almost all students are eligible for some type of Financial
Aid. For more information, follow the steps below or contact
the Office of Adult Enrollment at 614-823-1020.
Assistance in paying for college expenses may be available through
loans,
grants,
and/or work-study opportunities. The availability of certain types
of financial aid is limited and students are encouraged to apply
as early as possible. The application process is EASY and FREE.
TO APPLY FOR FINANCIAL
AID AT OTTERBEIN:
- Obtain
your PIN number from the Department of Education
- Complete the Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

- Complete the Institutional
Aid Form for Continuing Studies (see the forms page on the Financial Aid site)

Education Assistance Loan Program
PART-TIME TUITION:
Part-time tuition, for undergraduate students at Otterbein, is
charged at $300.00 per credit hour, if attending less than 12 credit
hours.
Classes are usually 5 credit hours each and most students take
two classes per term. Therefore, an average term of two classes
(10 credit hours) would cost $3,000.00 in tuition for the quarter.
To qualify for Stafford Loans, student must take a minimum of 6
credit hours.
TO COMPLETE YOUR STAFFORD LOAN PROCESSING:
1. Complete your Entrance
Interview Online
2. Complete your Master
Promissory Note Online
You will need to have your Federal PIN number, your drivers license
number and the names, addresses and phone numbers of two personal
references (relatives preferred) when you complete the Online Entrance
Interview and Master Promissory Note.
There
is NO COST to apply for financial aid or complete the FAFSA.
You should NOT have to pay anyone to apply for scholarships.
The process can be completed online, however Financial Aid packets
are available from the Office of Continuing Studies upon request.
