I have been teaching
Spanish language courses at Otterbein
College since 1985. In addition, I have taught English as a second
language to
international students at Otterbein as well as at the Ohio State
University and
Ohio Dominican University. I graduated
from the Kent State University Honors College in 1970 and received my
M.A. from
KSU in 1971. As a graduate student, I
worked in the International Studies office and traveled to Mexico with
student
groups. After receiving my M.A., I
remained in Mexico and studied and later taught at the University of
the
Americas in Puebla, Mexico.
I love motivating
students to learn Spanish and feel
it important for everyone to appreciate other cultures.
I enjoy reading, word games, films, and
traveling, especially to Spanish speaking countries.
