Dijon French Studies Program

Description
The Otterbein College study program at the Centre International d'Etudes Françaises of the Université de Bourgogne in Dijon, France, offers cultural, linguistic, and scholastic advantages which ordinarily are not available on an American campus.  To begin, Dijon, as the capital of Burgundy, has a rich historical heritage and its location on direct routes to Paris, Switzerland, Germany, southern France, and Italy facilitates traveling to all of central Europe.
The regular year courses, taught entirely in French, include instruction in French syntax, phonetics, conversation, composition, literature, history, philosophy, theater, art and music. Particularly able or interested students may also register for lectures given by the Faculté des Lettres.
In Dijon students may choose to live with a family in town (in demi-pension) or on campus dormitories at the Résidence Internationale d'Étudiants.
