3D Design
This course examines the principles and elements of design as they relate to work with materials in physical space. Students manipulate found objects and traditional art materials to explore relationships among design elements and develop skills in using sculptural forms to express ideas.
3D design students study the work of historical and contemporary artists to introduce assignments. Students are asked to apply their understanding of critical practice to evaluating the work of their peers.
